Snoop linked up with Airbnb to create his own pop-up house at the SXSW Airbnb Park in Austin. He worked with designer Emily Henderson to deck out the KitHAUS with all of his favorite things and to make it all things Snoop Dogg. On top of building his own pop-up, Snoop had to throw some west coast flavor into the park with the Respect the West Producer Showcase! Snoopzilla & Dam-Funk released their “7 Days of Funk” album in December 2013, and they wanted to offer their fans the opportunity to get involved in the making of a music video! We offered a download of green-screen footage of Snoop & Dam performing the “High Wit Me” song, along with these simple rules: “You can do anything you like as long as it’s creative – shoot new footage, animation, found footage, Snoop and Dam green screen footage or combinations of all of the above.” Snoop & Dam looked through all the submissions and chose their favorite five clips. Snoop and Dam dropped the director’s cut of their new music video for “Do My Thang”, the latest single of their collab project 7 Days of Funk. The video also features both artists wearing Snoop Dogg’s latest paisley and rose printed Neff collection, available now at Tilly’s.
Snoopzilla and Dam-Funk release the newest music video for the song “Ill Be There 4U” from the 7 Days of Funk album. Directed by Dah Dah Baker, the video was filmed after the MTV EMA Awards in Amsterdam, where Snoop and Dam performed.
CONTEST: MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEO FOR 7 DAYS OF FUNK. Snoop and Dam-Funk want you to make the next video from the 7 Days Of Funk album’s “High Wit Me”.
The rules are simple: Download audio for “High Wit Me” and the green screen footage of Snoop and Dam. Create your own video using the green screen and/or any other footage you want. Once you’ve completed your video, title it “7 Days Of Funk Video Contest”, upload it to YouTube and notify us at team@stonesthrow.com of your submission. We’ll add your video to the contest playlist for all to see and Snoop and Dam to judge.

After that we’ll announce the winner on February 24, 2014, taking into consideration view counts, comments, and most importantly which video Snoop and Dam like best. 4 Semi-finalists will get a $200 each and a 7 Days Of Funk 7” box set. The winner will get $1,000, a chance to direct an upcoming video for Stones Throw and a 7 Days Of Funk 7” box set.
Today, 7 Days of Funk (Dam-Funk and Snoopzilla) release their self-titled album on iTunes, Amazon and Rdio. The King of Modern Funk meets the smoked-out scion of G-Funk on the 7 Days of Funk album, featuring Bootsy Collins, Kurupt, and DPG, out on Stones Throw Records.
7 Days of Funk Release New Video for “Hit Da Pavement”
“Hit Da Pavement” follows the further adventures of Dam and Snoop after the house party featured in the video for “Faden Away”. The time, we ride along with the pair as they cruise the streets of Los Angeles in Snoop’s baby blue Lincoln Continental. Check out the video above!
